Burnaby Village Museum - Seaforth Schoolhouse

At Burnaby Village Museum, preserving history and welcoming thousands of visitors each year go hand in hand. Source Floor supplied and installed Kermode entrance matting at the Seaforth Schoolhouse, a heritage building built in 1922.

This installation provides modern performance without compromising historic character—protecting original flooring from moisture, dirt, and wear while blending seamlessly into the schoolhouse’s timeless setting. The Kermode mat ensures that visitors can enjoy the heritage site safely and comfortably, all while maintaining the integrity of this century-old landmark.
