Kodiak is designed to be used in combination with a wiper/scraper indoor mat, like Grizzly FX or Sunbear. Entrance matting protects your carpet and tile floors from premature failure and make them easier to maintain long-term. The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) recommends 12 to 15 linear feet of matting for an office building to ensure soil is trapped and floors are kept safe.

Kodiak’s non-absorbent, all-PVC construction means it can never get fully saturated like a textile mat. And when used without ramped safety edging, Kodiak has unlimited water scraping capabilities. Water and dirt is scraped off incoming foot traffic and simply flows out the sides of the mat, allowing it to continue working at full capacity regardless of the amount of rainfall!

Kodiak performs best when used at moderate-traffic, outdoor entrances of commercial buildings. Use Kodiak without ramped safety edging for maximum water scraping capability, or with edging for maximum stability and resistance to edge-flipping or curling.
