Bearmats environmental benefits carry through into their maintenance too, because they don’t need to be carted across town in a fossil fuel-burning truck for cleaning.  Bearmats are real flooring – not laundry, like “launderable” rental mats – so you clean them in place, just like all the other carpeted flooring in the building.
