Entrance mats don’t have to be ugly.

When most people think about commercial entrance mats, they typically picture something like this:
A bog-standard mat. It sort of fits, sort of doesn’t, but that’s the closest ‘standard size’ the distributor had to offer. It’s kinda ugly, but not offensively so. It usually flops over when people have walked in and needs to be fixed at least a couple of times a day. It doesn’t really do much cleaning, but it’s at least a little better than nothing at all…sort of.
It all adds up to “meh”. If milquetoast is your decorating ethos, you’ve got it made with a mat like this! But most commercial buildings have put a lot of money, effort, and time into creating a welcoming, professional space to greet their clients, customers, and tenants – why stop caring when it comes to the very first thing your visitors see at your front door?
